BEACON 2014

東京で展示した≪BEACON 2014 -memento≫に続き、『横浜都市文化ラボ、パノラマプロジェクト』(※）への参加作品。回転する映像投影装置による「BEACON」の基本形態を元に、映像コンテンツを新たに撮影する。「流れる（flux）」をテーマに、海（美浜海岸）から川（鴨川・高瀬川）へと遡る、約20分間の映像が投影される。 展示場所である旧小学校の木工室に元々備わっていた窓、黒板、扉へのプロジェクションマッピングを行い、窓への風景映像のはめ込み、黒板への描画行為、扉からの人物の出入りなどの映像を挿入する。

Following the work “BEACON 2014 -memento” exhibited in Tokyo, this is a work participating in the “Yokohama Urban Culture Lab, Panorama Project” (*). Based on the basic idea form of “BEACON” by a rotating image projection device, a new video image taken. Under the theme of “flux,” a 20-minute video image from the sea (Mihama coast) to the rivers (Kamogawa and Takasegawa) is projected. We performed projection mapping to the windows, blackboards, and doors that provided primitively in the woodwork room of the old elementary school, which is the exhibition site, and embedded landscape images in the windows, drawing on the blackboard, and entering and exiting people from the doors.
